Our young learners were introduced to the basics of road safety through interactive sessions and hands-on activities. The event began with an opening ceremony led by our Secretary, Mr. Shailesh Gambhir, and our principal, Mrs. Tejaswi B. Ballari.
To make the learning experience more immersive, we set up a mini traffic park within the school corridor. This corridor featured small traffic lights, road signs, pedestrian crossings, a flyover, and a walking bridge, creating a realistic environment where children could practice what they learned. Under the guidance of our teachers, students took turns acting as pedestrians and drivers, navigating the mini roads and adhering to the traffic rules.
Parents were invited to join the session, allowing them to witness their children’s progress and understand the significance of reinforcing these safety measures at home.
Our Road Safety and Traffic Rules activity was a resounding success, leaving our young students better prepared to navigate roads safely. We believe that instilling these essential skills at an early age is crucial, and we are proud to contribute to the safety and awareness of our tiny tots..
